The six districts
| Ward | District | Cleared by | Vessel | What the wiki says |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Southern Ward | The Forsaken Streets | 49.2% | The Warden (documented) | A dense tangle of housing and small businesses among rotting structures — the Reborn Cult's recruiting ground. The oldest part of the city. |
| Southern Ward | Archspire Cathedral | 19.7% | Cardinal Mathias (documented) | Seat of the Lunitarian Archspire Chapter and the cathedral the city is named after. Holds "some of the Church's most closely guarded secrets". |
| Grimhaven Ward | Ramshorn Keep | 4.4% | not documented | The old city-watch garrison, now a fortification for the Infernal Legion and the Reborn Cult. Known issue: a host crash entering its second arena. |
| Grimhaven Ward | Shoreditch Prison / Walltower | 2.6% | not documented | An ancient citadel and one of the most feared prisons in the Isles, recently sold to Nachtstahl Steel's Solomon Moore. |
| Gilded Ward | Elk Grove Academy | 6.4% | not documented | Home of Velchoria's brightest minds until its integrity fell — and with it the city. |
| Gilded Ward | Moore Manor | no achievement | not documented | The vampire lord Solomon Moore's estate, one of the least Hellgrowth-contaminated areas of Gildenarch. Known issue: co-op clients may freeze or disconnect here. |
"Cleared by" is the Steam global unlock rate of that district's completion achievement, read 2 Sep 2026. Vessel attributions are only shown where a wiki page ties the boss to the district (The Warden to the Forsaken Streets, Cardinal Mathias to the Cathedral); the rest are left blank rather than guessed. Boss details on the bosses page.
Reading the drop-off
The achievement order tells the story of launch day: Prologue 90.9% → Forsaken Streets 49.2% → Archspire Cathedral 19.7% → first Abraxas Stone (Rot) 5.4% → Elk Grove 6.4% / Ramshorn 4.4% → Shoreditch 2.6% → Abraxas Stone of War 1.1% → Arcana 0.5% → a full Victory 5.6%. Elk Grove sitting above Ramshorn hints that the War Table lets you choose between Wards after the first stone rather than forcing one order. A launch-day livestream (P4wnyhof, 1 Sep 2026) bears that out: its first run cleared The Forsaken Streets as "mission one" and opened Elk Grove Academy as "mission number three", with The Warden as the first district's boss.
How a mission is structured
- War Table. Pick the mission, the target Ward and one of six difficulty levels; the difficulty is locked until the run's final boss is dead. The table also shows expected enemies and approximate length.
- Loadout Station. Last chance to change gear, consumables and your Angel. Locked once you deploy.
- Districts and Nexus Gates. Each mission runs through several living doorways that open only when their objective is met (for example, kill everything in the area). Each gate offers a choice of three Boons.
- The final encounter. A boss ends the mission and sends you back to the hub with XP, purifiable loot, Souls and Gold.
- Side quests and bounties. Hub characters hand out optional quests; Bounties unlock at level 3. Missions may branch, with each path carrying its own objectives.
What you lose on death and what carries forward is on the runs page; the six difficulty tiers (Hellish is the one with an achievement) on the difficulty page.
The Godsreach Spire
The main quest's end point. The wiki says very little is known beyond that it was "a project approved and funded by the Archspire Chapter", that it is tearing the veil protecting Eden, and that it is powered by the Abraxas Stones — collect the three stones, extract the Dead Gods' spirits, destroy the Spire. Lore on the story page.
Mission questions
How many missions are in Crimson Moon?
The developer wiki documents six districts across three Wards plus the Prologue, and a full run is a sequence of districts ending in a final boss. Five districts have completion achievements; Moore Manor does not, which suggests it sits outside the primary mission chain — but that is an inference, not something ProbablyMonsters has stated.
How long is a run or a mission?
ProbablyMonsters has not published a length. The War Table shows each mission's approximate duration before you deploy, and the achievement data says most players' first day ended in the first district: 90.9% finished the Prologue, 49.2% The Forsaken Streets, 19.7% Archspire Cathedral.
Can I replay a mission?
Yes. Completing a mission does not lock the district; the support team recommends replaying at the same or a higher difficulty for more loot and any secrets you missed.
